I'm excited to get to work and see what looks I can create with these beautiful & bold colors. Im ready for Summer 2010, clothing & makeup to compliment.

A makeup Artist uses a face as their canvas and blending the right shades to achieve the perfect look takes practice and skill sooooo I'm looking forward to some tutorials from Lanea Singleton & Javonni Hopkins- Lakins, we all brought similar products so they need to teach me how to blend them all togehter!! lol

NYC MAKEUP EXPO 2010!!!!!

*This year I attended the NYC MAKEUP EXPO 2010. Luckily I attended the Expo with two very talented Makeup Artists, Lanea Singleton & Javonni Hopkins-Lakins.

When you first enter it can be extremely overwhelming, rows and rows of makeup, tools, kits, and a mass of people rushing to crowded booths but I was able to work my way around the venue with my two MAkeup Lovers, both casually making their way through the huge space while I stood looking over every detail like a kid in a candy store.

I saw airbrushing, makeup applications and theatrical makeup applications (Scary). So many women & men covered in beautiful combinations, designs and bright and bold colors!!

I learned sooo much, these ladies answered all my questions, gave me tips, made color suggestions and found some tools missing from my makeup kit.

I went in with a budget and i can proudly say I stuck to it!! lol. I had a wonderful afternoon, conversed with two amazing women and purchased some great stuff..... now I need to put together some outfits and I'm ready to go!
